Barista

Try their dark chocolate mocha, an open secret of the Portland coffee scene.

A long-established Portland favorite, Barista has grown from its initial location in The Pearl - opened in 2009 - to outposts in the city's Nob Hill, Downtown, and Alberta neighborhoods. Stop in to try their dark chocolate mocha, a delight concocted with lovingly melted Valrhona chocolate, or any of their imaginative seasonal drinks.

Locations

Exterior of Barista's Downtown location.

Downtown, Portland

Barista’s downtown location opened in 2012, inside of the Historic Hamilton Building. This store was designed to embrace the history of the building itself. Penny round tile and marble counter tops help complete this ode to the building’s turn of the century design.

Nob Hill, Portland

Barista’s Nob Hill location is nestled in one of Portland’s most active shopping districts. Grab a coffee to take with you while you shop, or stick around for a pint of local beer or a glass of wine.

The Pearl, Portland

Barista’s first cafe, opened in Portland’s Pearl District in 2009. With the smallest footprint of all the cafes, the Pearl is an ideal location to grab-and-go while exploring Portland.

Exterior of Alberta Barista location.

Alberta, Portland

Opened in 2010, Barista’s second cafe is located in the Alberta Arts District. Inside you’ll be welcomed by friendly staff, a beautiful walnut bar and enough seating for you and all of the regulars.
